You're standing on Airborne Square in Arnhem, at the Airborne Monument. Take a good look at the column on its pedestal. It isn't a newly made artwork. It's a real piece of the war. The column belonged to the Palace of Justice, Arnhem's courthouse. During the Battle of Arnhem in September 1944, that building was completely destroyed. A fragment of one of its columns was saved, damage and all. That broken piece is now the monument.
