You're standing on the Vijverlaan in Velp, at the liberation memorial. Start with the big boulders. They came from Denmark, because the town didn't have stones like these of its own. They stand for the toughness of the resistance against the Germans. The memorial was designed by Velp artist Eugène Terwindt.
