Louvre Palace in Paris

You're standing in the Cour Napoléon, the great central courtyard of the Louvre in Paris, right by the glass pyramid. That pyramid is the centrepiece of the whole palace. American architect I. M. Pei designed it, and it opened to the public on 29 March 1989. Beneath it lies the Hall Napoléon, the underground lobby that leads into the museum.
