Hungarian Natural History Museum in Budapest

You're standing at the Hungarian Natural History Museum, on Ludovika Square in Budapest. It holds the largest natural history collections in Hungary, and in the wider region too. Take a good look at the building. It wasn't built for animals and rocks, but for soldiers. This is the Ludovika Academy, once Hungary's military academy. Where officers used to train, you now find minerals, fossils and stuffed birds.
