You're standing on the Fisherman's Bastion, high on Castle Hill in Budapest. First, take a look around. White stone walls, stairways, arcades and little towers with pointed roofs. It looks like a fairy-tale castle, but it was never a real fortress. It's a lookout terrace, built from 1895 in Neo-Romanesque style, to a design by architect Frigyes Schulek.
