You're standing at the Vasúttörténeti Park, Budapest's railway museum, up in the north of the city. This isn't a museum of dusty glass cases. The whole site used to be a working depot, the Budapest North Depot of the Hungarian State Railways, MÁV. Trains were parked and serviced right here. Today it's a park of more than seventy thousand square metres, full of tracks, points and old locomotives.
