You're standing on the southern slope of Gellért Hill, on the Buda side of Budapest, at the entrance to the Cave Church. Hungarians call it Sziklatemplom, the rock church. Start with the terrace in front of you. Saint Stephen stands guard here, right beside his horse. Now look at the rock itself. Neo-Gothic turrets poke out of the stone. They belong to the monastery, which is carved straight into the hill.
