You're standing on top of Gellért Hill, at the Citadella. The plateau under your feet is 235 metres high, and this fortress takes up almost all of it. Have a look at those long, low walls. Together they form a kind of horseshoe around a courtyard, about 220 metres long and 60 metres wide. Sixty cannons once stood here.
