You're standing on Heroes' Square in Budapest, at the far end of the long Andrássy Avenue. In the middle of the square rises a tall column. On top stands the Archangel Gabriel. In one hand he holds the Holy Crown of Hungary, in the other a double cross. With that statue, sculptor György Zala won the Grand Prix at the 1900 Paris Exposition.
