You're standing at the Musée Nissim de Camondo, on rue de Monceau, right at the edge of Parc Monceau. Take a good look at this house. It feels like a little piece of Versailles, and that's no accident. Architect René Sergent modelled it on the Petit Trianon, the small palace in the gardens of Versailles. But don't be fooled. It was only built between 1911 and 1914, and it came with all the modern comforts of its day.
