You're standing by the BT Tower, on Cleveland Street in Fitzrovia. Go on, tip your head right back. That slim concrete cylinder wrapped in glass rises 177 metres, and with the rigging on top it reaches 189. When it was finished in 1964 it was the tallest structure in London, and it kept that title until 1980.
