Castle Huis ter Kleef in Haarlem

You're standing in the Haarlem city gardens, the Kweektuin, at the remains of Huis ter Kleef. There isn't much left. Look at the little island with its low stretches of wall. Most of the castle lies hidden under the sand. The house with the small tower next to it is called the Kaatsbaan. That's the part that has survived the centuries best.
