Bavaria in Munich

You're standing at the Bavaria, the huge bronze statue above the Theresienwiese, the big open field where the Oktoberfest takes place every year. Take a look up. This woman is Bavaria itself, in human form. She's more than eighteen and a half metres tall, stands on a stone base of almost nine metres, and weighs around eighty-seven tons.
