BMW Museum in Munich

You're standing at the BMW Museum in Munich, close to the Olympic Park. Take a look at that striking silver building. It looks like a giant bowl or cauldron, and that's exactly what people call it: the salad bowl, or the white cauldron. The shape is unusual. At the bottom, the building is round and only about twenty metres across. The flat roof is twice as wide, around forty metres. So the whole thing gets wider as it goes up.
