You're standing on the Koornmarkt in Delft, outside number 67. Behind this front lived the painter Paul Tétar van Elven for thirty years, and his home is now a museum. Take a good look at the house. It was rebuilt after Delft's great fire of 1536, but the cellar underneath is even older, from around 1400. The façade was raised in the eighteenth century, and around 1800 the windows were updated in the fashionable Empire style.
