You're standing at the war memorial of Schipluiden, in the little park across from the church of Saint James the Greater. Have a proper look at it. What seems like a pile of sandstone blocks is actually a sword. A giant sword, plunged into the ground right up to the hilt. A sword that won't be used again, as a symbol of peace.
