You're standing at the Tarxien Temples, one of the megalithic temple sites of Malta and a World Heritage Site. First, take a look around. Ordinary modern houses surround the whole complex. Temples thousands of years old in a residential street: that's rare. About four hundred metres to the west lies another prehistoric wonder, the Ħal Saflieni Hypogeum.
