Auberge d'Italie in Valletta

You're standing at the Auberge d'Italie, on Merchants Street in Valletta. This was once home to the Italian knights of the Order of Saint John. The knights were grouped by language, and each group had its own auberge. This is actually the third Italian one. The first stood in Birgu, and the second was swallowed up by the Grandmaster's Palace.
