You're standing at Ca' Pesaro, a Baroque marble palace on the Grand Canal, in the Santa Croce district. Look at the façade facing the water. At the bottom you'll see heavy, rough-cut stonework. Above it, colossal columns stand beside tall arched windows, on two levels. It gives the impression of two open loggias running the full width of the building.
