You're standing in Engwegen, southeast of Schin op Geul, at the foot of the Keutenberg hill. This is where the sunken lane of the Engwegengrub comes out into the Geul valley. Right here stood the Engwegen lime kiln. Behind this spot, to the south, lies the Keutenberg quarry, where limestone used to be dug.
