You're standing at the Van Karnebeek Fountain, on the corner of Scheveningseweg and Carnegielaan in The Hague. At first glance it's just a bench, but take a closer look. This sandstone monument is a bench and a fountain in one. It comes in three parts. The middle section is curved and rises above the two sides. Right in the centre sits a lion's head, with spring water flowing out of it.
