Cimitero Monumentale in Milan

You're standing at the Cimitero Monumentale, one of the two largest cemeteries in Milan. Sounds gloomy? It really isn't. Think of it as an open-air sculpture museum. Start with that huge marble and stone building in front of you. That's the Famedio, a kind of hall of fame in a style that looks back to the Middle Ages. It's also the main entrance.
