You're standing at the Museo Civico di Storia Naturale, Milan's natural history museum. Around you is the Indro Montanelli Garden, a green park right next to the old city gate of Porta Venezia. Take a good look at the building itself. It went up between 1888 and 1893 in a Neo-Romanesque style, with a few Gothic touches here and there. Set among the trees, it looks more like a castle than a house full of bones and rocks.
