You're standing at the Bosco Verticale, Milan's Vertical Forest. Look up. You'll see two residential towers, but mostly you'll see green. Real trees, shrubs and plants grow out of the balconies, from the lowest floor right up to the top. The taller tower has twenty-six floors, the shorter one eighteen, and they're joined by an L-shaped base. They opened in 2014, designed by Boeri Studio, led by architect Stefano Boeri.
