Palace of Justice in Brussels

You're standing on Place Poelaert, in front of the Palace of Justice of Brussels. Go on, look up, if your neck can take it. When it was finished in 1883, this was considered the largest building in the world. It covers more ground than St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. And it's still Belgium's most important courthouse, home to the country's supreme court, the Court of Cassation.
