You're standing at Beersel Castle, one of the best-preserved medieval castles in Belgium. Start with the water. A wide moat runs all the way around, and behind it rise sturdy walls. They're brick, baked right here on site, which was an unusual choice for a castle back then. See those three big rounded towers? That's the face of Beersel. What you won't find is a classic keep, the massive central tower so many other castles have.
