You're standing on the Avenue de Tervueren in Woluwe-Saint-Pierre, in front of the Stoclet Palace. At first glance it may not be what you'd expect from a palace. No turrets or curls, just crisp white blocks clad in Norwegian marble and edged with metal trim. It was built between 1905 and 1911, and it's seen as one of the turning points from old styles to modern architecture.
