You're standing at Hôtel Solvay, number 224 on Avenue Louise in Brussels. Despite the name, it was never a hotel. It's a grand town house, built for Armand Solvay, son of the chemist and industrialist Ernest Solvay. The architect was Victor Horta, one of the founding fathers of Art Nouveau.
