You're standing at the Church of Our Lady of the Sablon, one of only three Gothic churches still standing in central Brussels. Take a good look at the top. Notice something missing? There's no tower. One was planned, but the money ran out. Still, this is late Gothic at its finest, full of flame-like tracery, with stained glass windows some fourteen metres tall.
