You're standing near Braine-le-Château, southwest of Brussels, at a spot linked to the KW Line. This was a Belgian defensive line built at the start of the Second World War. Its job was to shield the heart of the country from a German invasion. Have a look around the landscape. Here and there, concrete bunkers and steel barriers from that time still survive.
