You're standing at a crossroads in Nijmegen's lower town, where four little streets meet: Priemstraat, Nonnenstraat, Smidstraat and Ganzenheuvel. In the middle is a round flower bed with a bronze statue two metres tall: a grieving woman. This is Nijmegen's Jewish Monument, made by the sculptor Paul de Swaaf.
