Viewpoint Oude Maasheuvel in Barendrecht

You're standing at the Gaatkensbult, a hill that hasn't been here very long. It actually has three names. Officially it's the Jan Gerritseheuvel, some call it the Oude Maasheuvel, but most people just say Gaatkensbult. It sits in the Jan Gerritsepolder recreation area near Barendrecht, south of the Carnisselande neighbourhood and close to the Oude Maas river.
