Osterley House in Hounslow

You're standing at Osterley House, the mansion at the heart of Osterley Park in west London. Take a good look at it. Red brick, white stone trim, roughly square, with a little turret on every corner. One side is left almost open. A broad flight of steps leads up to a screen of columns topped by a pediment, and behind that sits a courtyard at the level of the main floor. Pretty unusual for an English country house.
