You're standing at Krakus' Mound, Kopiec Krakusa in Polish. This is Podgórze, on Lasota Hill, about three kilometres south of Kraków's city centre. Take a look at that grassy hump in front of you. It's sixteen metres high and sixty metres across at the base. It may look like a natural hill, but people built it. Together with Wanda's Mound, it's the oldest man-made structure in the whole city.
