Fort benoorden Purmerend

You're standing at Fort North of Purmerend, in the Beemster polder, between Purmerend, Zuidoostbeemster and Kwadijk. It's part of the Defence Line of Amsterdam, the ring of forts around the capital. Because it sits on the Kwadijkerweg, people sometimes call it Fort Kwadijk, but strictly speaking that's not its name.
