You're standing at the Hortus Bulborum in Limmen, North Holland, not far from Alkmaar. From outside it might look like an ordinary bulb field, but it's really a living museum. This is where old tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, crocuses and other bulbs are kept alive that would otherwise have vanished long ago.
