You're standing on the Tilburgseweg in Sprang-Capelle, by the roundabout between Waalwijk and Sprang-Capelle. Look at the bronze statue on the column. You'll see a woman, her hands bound, falling backwards. It's a memorial to Jan de Rooy, known locally as the hero of the Langstraat. Sculptor Fred Carasso made it, and it was unveiled in 1954.
