Slotbosse Toren in Oosterhout

You're standing at the Slotbosse Toren on the Kasteeldreef in Oosterhout. What you see is a big piece of wall, more than twenty metres tall. It's the last remnant of Strijen Castle, once a large medieval castle. The ruin stands on a little island surrounded by ditches, with a bridge leading to it and fences around it. The name comes from the oak forest that once grew here.
