You're standing at the De Looierij museum, on the Kerkstraat in Dongen. Take a good look at the building, because this really was a tannery, run by the Hessels company. This is where animal hides were turned into leather. The oldest part dates from 1890, and it was extended in 1943. Today it's a national monument.
