Kasteel Exaten in Leudal

You're standing at Exaten, a country estate with a castle just south-east of the village of Baexem, in the middle of Limburg. The castle is mentioned as early as 1329, under the name Ixaten. Look at the entrance. There's a stone with a double family crest and the year 1593. Around that time the building was enlarged into a rectangle, with small towers on the corners along one side.
