Kasteel Baexem in Leudal

You're standing at Baexem Castle, on Kasteelweg in the village of Baexem, in the Limburg municipality of Leudal. Take a look at the front. The building is neatly symmetrical, with a central section that juts forward slightly under a triangular pediment. That balance is no accident: the side wings were added in the eighteenth century precisely to give the house its even look.
