Palace of Zarzuela in Madrid

You're standing at the Zarzuela Palace, on the northern edge of Madrid, in the hills of Monte de El Pardo. This is where the Spanish royal family has lived for decades. That might surprise you. The grand Royal Palace in the city centre is the official residence, but these days it's only used for state occasions. The real home is out here, somewhere much quieter.
