You're standing at the Fuente de Cibeles, or simply La Cibeles, right in the middle of Plaza de Cibeles in Madrid. This fountain has become one of the icons of the city. Take a look at the white figure in the centre. That's Cybele, an earth and fertility goddess from Phrygia, in ancient Asia Minor.
