Kasteel Nederhemert in Zaltbommel

You're standing at Nederhemert Castle, near the village of Nederhemert in the Bommelerwaard. The castle sits on an island in the river Maas, not far from Heusden. Take a look at the ground around the castle. The lines of an old fortress can still be traced. And on the south side lies a small earthwork called the Old Redoubt.
