Kasteel Maurick in Vught

You're standing at Maurick Castle in Vught. It sits on a little island by the river Dommel. Look at the entrance: a pointed archway between two slender towers, with a drawbridge in front. That's the oldest part, from the early fifteenth century. Behind it you'll see two small turrets hanging from the façade, and the main tower with its slate spire.
