Castle Laarwoud in Tynaarlo

You're standing at Laarwoud, right in the centre of Zuidlaren. In this part of the Netherlands a house like this is called a havezate: a noble manor with special privileges, a sort of little castle. Look at the stately building, the park around it, the entrance gate and the coach house. They all belong together, and since 2004 the whole ensemble has been a national monument. Can you spot a square sandstone pedestal somewhere? That's protected too.
