This stage of the NAP-route (LF9) is a cycle route of about 50 km from Bad Nieuweschans to Zuidbroek, the first stage of the LF9. You ride through East Groningen by way of the old fortified village of Oudeschans, Bellingwolde and Blijham to Winschoten, where you pass the Graaf Adolf monument, and on to Zuidbroek. It is flat. A third is asphalt and a quarter paved; for a third of the route the surface is unknown, and a short stretch runs along a busy road. There are more than 70 benches, but we know of no drinking water, toilets or bike pump on the way.
