You're standing at Le Moustier, in the little village of Peyzac-le-Moustier in the Dordogne. Look at the rocks. There are two rock shelters here, spots where the cliff juts out and forms a natural roof. One sits higher up, the other lower down. Neanderthals once lived under these rocks. They left behind stone tools, and their dead.
