You're standing at the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant, on Șoseaua Kiseleff, just off Piața Victoriei in Bucharest. Take a good look at the building. Its architect, Nicolae Ghica-Budești, deliberately borrowed features from traditional Romanian architecture. So instead of a stiff state museum, it feels more like a grand village building. This spot, by the way, used to be the State Mint, where the country made its money.
