Romanian Atheneum in Bucharest

You're standing at the Romanian Athenaeum, Ateneul Român in Romanian, right in the centre of Bucharest. Take a good look at the building: round, richly decorated and crowned with a dome. The style is mostly neoclassical, with a few romantic touches here and there. It was designed by the French architect Albert Galleron and opened in 1888. This is the city's most prestigious concert hall.
